April 2003

Welcome to the April issue of Your Healthy Life. I would like to be among the first to wish you a Happy Earth Month! Although Earth Day is officially April 22, why not think in terms of a healthy planet all month?

Ideally, we would consider the health of our earth every month of the year, and take the necessary actions to keep it beautiful and vibrant. Even for the busiest among us, taking a minute to consider how your lifestyle affects the earth can be the first step to making key changes for big "earth benefits." Please take a moment to learn 88 Tips to Save the Earth. For further information on Earth Day and a huge array of great events, visit www.earthday.org.

Additionally, April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. For more information on this issue, visit the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN).

And please don't miss Kick Butts Day — April 2 — by grace of the National Center for Tobacco-Free Kids.

I encourage your questions and comments. Letting us know that this newsletter adds value to your life supports its continued production. I look forward to hearing from you at kiki@aboutnhs.com.

Best wishes for personal and planetary health this month and every month to come.

Peace and health on Earth.

The Breast Cancer site aims to donate at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. The corporate sponsors/advertisers for this site gauge the number of daily visits to donate a mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Please help the Breast Cancer site meet their quota. It takes less than a minute, so go to their site and click on "Fund Free Mammograms" (it's the pink window in the middle of the page). You don't have to sign up and there is no cost to you.

Please pass along this link to ten of your friends or associates: www.thebreastcancersite.com
